SMA assisted the applicant with the technical assessments and reports covering the Transport Assessment and Travel Plan, 3D ground modelling and the flood consequences and sustainable drainage appraisals for a residential scheme at Llandough Hill, Penarth. Addressing challenges of a steeply sloping site, with springs and surface water pathways, the project team team prepared the hybrid application for 133 dwellings with 4-5 storey flats on the lower plateau and 2-3 storey houses on the higher plateau. A full application was submitted for the site access and development road.
Our second consent at Ffordd Y Milleniwm, Barry was for 56 dwellings at the former railway sidings site adjacent to the Vale of Glamorgan main railway line. SMA were pleased to assist with the preparation of the Transport Assessment and site access proposals for this Outline Planning Application.
Planning permission has been achieved for the Reserved Matters application for 100 homes at Finchwood Park, Finchampstead, with SMA providing the civils design input for the scheme. We’re looking forward to seeing the sales launch later this year and helping deliver much needed homes in Wokingham Borough.
